Altea

Just a short walk from Benidorm is the city of Altea, a wonderful treasure box on Costa Blanca. It has a very unique atmosphere with its snow-white walls, cobblestone roads, pebble and sandy beaches, steep slopes and charming terraces that surround the church at the top of the town, Parroquia Nuestra Señora del Consuelo. During the day, the beaches, and after 9 pm, the city center is full of life and street music is played until one or two in the morning and the streets are crowded. Fantastic place. White walls, gray rocks, constant sunshine, and the turquoise sea.
