Resident card administration in Spain

If you want to live in Spain long-term, you will need a residence card (residencia).
This makes administration, healthcare and many aspects of life easier.
The Go2CostaBlanca team provides a fast and smooth service in Benidorm and the Costa Blanca.
🔹 The first resident card is valid for 5 years, after which a permanent extension can be requested.
🔹 Eligibility (over 18 years):
- Proof of employment or self-employment
- 7000€ in Spanish bank account + private health insurance paid for 1 year
🔹 For children, the parent’s residence is required.
Conditions for applying for a residence card for children:
If the parent already has a residence card, the child will automatically get a NIE number and will be entitled to residency. If the parent has been granted the residence with proof of financial coverage, the child will also need it:
- Min. 7000€ in Spanish bank account
- private health insurance paid for 1 year in advance
